2025 Nissan Frontier

The 2025 Nissan Frontier is available in ten trims: King Cab S, King Cab SV, Crew Cab S, Crew Cab SV, Crew Cab SV Long Bed, Crew Cab PRO X, Crew Cab SL, Crew Cab SL Long Bed, Crew Cab PRO 4X, and Crew Cab PRO 4X Long Bed. The base King Cab S and Crew Cab S models have 16-inch steel wheels and all-season tires. SV trims feature 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels and a bed-mounted 120V power outlet, while SL variants upgrade to 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

The PRO-4X models feature specialized 17-inch Hankook all-terrain tires, dark chrome grille accents, red tow hooks, and skid plates. A new Afterburn Orange exterior color option is exclusive to PRO-X and PRO-4X models. Bed lengths vary by configuration, with the King Cab models and standard Crew Cab versions featuring a 5-foot bed and Long Bed variants offering a 6-foot cargo box. LED headlights with LED daytime running lights come standard.

The 2025 Frontier comes equipped with a 3.8-liter direct injection V-6 engine generating 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel-drive models feature a part-time system with 2WD/4HI/4LO modes for various terrain conditions. PRO-4X models add an electronic locking rear differential for enhanced traction in challenging off-road situations.

The 2025 Frontier offers a maximum towing capacity of 7,150 pounds. King Cab models can handle payloads up to 1,610 pounds. PRO-4X models benefit from Bilstein off-road performance shocks that enhance ride quality and handling on rough terrain. All 4WD models include hill-start assist to prevent incline rollback and hill-descent control for managing steep descents. The standard vehicle dynamic control with traction control works alongside the four-wheel antilock braking system to maintain stability.

The base S trim features an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment display, while all other trims upgrade to a new 12.3-inch screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities. The SL and PRO-4X trims feature a 9-inch display with navigation and a 10-speaker Fender premium audio system. Zero Gravity front seats come standard across all models, reducing fatigue during long drives. SV and higher trims add dual-zone automatic temperature control and remote engine start. The SL and PRO-4X models elevate comfort with leather-appointed seating, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

The Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite equips every Frontier with comprehensive safety technology, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, high beam assist, and rear automatic braking. The SL and PRO-4X trims add Nissan's Intelligent Around View monitor that provides a 360-degree perspective of the vehicle and traffic sign recognition. All models include trailer sway control for stable towing operations.
