The 2024 model year is an exciting one for Nissan’s Frontier. Here’s a handy guide to the trims offered by the 2024 Nissan Frontier!

Frontier S

Though it’s the most affordable model in the lineup, the Frontier S is no slouch when it comes to delivering plenty of compelling features. The first of which is its standard 3.8L V6 engine that pairs with a 9-speed automatic transmission and produces an impressive total of 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. Exceptional traction results from the standard limited-slip differential, and the trim offers a robust 4-wheel drive system.

The Frontier S can be had as the 2-door, 4-seat King Cab or the 4-door, 5-seat Crew Cab. Buyers may add the S Utility Package, which includes a 120-volt outlet for the bed and a spray-in bedliner. Within the cabin, you’ll find a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat and flip-up 60/40-split rear seats. Its 8-inch infotainment touchscreen grants access to smartphone integration and SiriusXM satellite radio.

Frontier SV

This trim is distinguishable from the S with its 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels and metallic-trimmed front grille. A set of 17-inch wheels is available, as well as additional options for the exterior paint finishes, such as Bluestone Pearl and Tactical Green Metallic. The value-packed SV Convenience Package brings the ever-useful Utili-track channel system with sliding cleats, LED bed lighting, and a Class IV hitch receiver with a 7-pin wiring harness.

Included with that same package are a slew of premium comforts like dual-zone climate control and heating for the steering wheel, front seats, and side mirrors. The Frontier SV’s available Hardbody Edition hearkens back to previous generations of Nissan pickups with its retro-styled 17-inch wheels and sport bar.

Frontier PRO-X/PRO-4X

The PRO-X and PRO-4X are meant for off-roading enthusiasts and are identical aside from the latter coming standard with a 4-wheel drive system, an electronic locking rear differential, and durable skid plates. Both promise a more confident, smoother ride over rough trails with Bilstein shock absorbers and all-terrain tires. At the center of the dashboard, you’ll find a larger 9-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration.

Frontier SL

If you want the most upscale version of the Frontier, you’ll definitely want to opt for the SL trim. Starting with the outside, it features LED headlights, a spray-in bedliner, and the Utili-track system as standard equipment. Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by charcoal-colored leather upholstery with contrast stitching. The standard power sunroof allows you to let in more of that fresh air.

Of course, the SL also gets heated seats and a heating steering wheel. Audiophiles can rejoice knowing that this model comes standard with a 10-spaker Fender premium audio system.
